BREAKING NEWS

6 out of 10 children quit sports before turning 18 years old.

Girls participation in sports is as low as 8% in selected areas within Oslo.

The NextGen Neighbor Network is taking an active role in a COLLECTIVE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AS A MATTER OF URGENCY.

This alarming drop-out is why the NextGen Neighbor Network (NNN), a non-profit initiative, was created in Norway, driven by escalating youth crime, youth smartphone dependency, and the deterioration of what it means to be a great neighbor, community builder, and contributor to your local community. NNN works as emergency kit for survival for the great and local sustainable ecosystems that already exist; where children, no matter their background, financial situation, or parents’ involvement, stay physically active long-term, and where their parents and other volunteers find belonging and long term friendships by being local ambassadors for social capital.

Local SUPER ROLE MODELS and AMBASSADORS in sport are actively used to nurture relationships with children, systematically and intentionally over time, because children depend on stable, predictable, and safe adults with high-awareness in their lives.

The NextGen Neighbor Network (NNN) offers a free-of-charge visual design branding for social responsibility awareness that can be implemented across Norway.

It highlights social capital—positioning it as a driving force to inspire children

to stay PHYSICALLY ACTIVE from 0 to 20 years olds.

Lets shift the paradigm from financial to social capital and be part of the solution.

The words “I care” are central to our initiative and are visually expressed throughout our branding, collaborative opportunities, and events. This campaign is led by key figures, athletes, and sponsorship partners, reminding everyone that caring about the next generation starts with compassion, validation of their social capital, understanding, and social change.

“We want to raise strong, kind, independent, and confident children. Let’s create awareness of their social capital, character, integrity, and responsibilities, rather than judging them for their background, financial situation, or personal challenges. This will boost integration, inclusion, equality, and belonging."
